We’ve all been delighted with Ric Morris’s aerial photography over Shropshire. But the natural world holds more than one kind of secret, and on Wednesday 21 October 2026 at 2pm, Ric joins us to share a different, equally entertaining, perspective!

How does a childhood hobby become a lifelong passion for natural history tracking? For our October u3a meeting at Minsterley Parish Hall, join us for a wonderfully unique, humorous presentation by Ric (famously known online as '@Skull_Bloke') for his talk, Confessions of a Teenage Skull Collector. Ric uses his massive, private collection of animal bones to unlock the mysteries of British wildlife.

Far from macabre, this presentation is a witty, eye-opening look at how skeletons encode the life stories of our native mammals. Come along to discover the unique history written right under the skin, handled by a local expert with over 40 years of field knowledge.

Following the session, refreshments will be provided, offering a chance to catch up or learn more about our u3a. Members and visitors are warmly invited to attend. Free for members. Voluntary donations from visitors welcome.
